About IDEAL

Tillotts IDEAL is an educational initiative developed by Tillotts Pharma UK and Ireland to help both new and experienced healthcare professionals enhance their understanding of Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI), to support our healthcare colleagues improve patient care.

Introduction

Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) is the most common infectious cause of nosocomial diarrhoea in the UK. This diarrhoea can be life-threatening and is associated with significant morbidity, mortality and financial burden.1,2
Working alongside key opinion leaders in the infection prevention field, Tillotts identified a need for educational resources to further develop healthcare professionals knowledge of CDI.
IDEAL has been developed using our experience from the past nine years of upskilling healthcare professionals working in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) through the Tillotts LOGIC Education program. Tillotts is committed to working with our healthcare colleagues to help improve outcomes for CDI patients as part of our ongoing commitment to the NHS.
