Managing DirectorEverything! Tillotts UK is my baby, when I first joined as general manager in July 2012 there were three employees including me, and sales were less than £250,000. Now we a thriving business with 40 employees and sales above £25 million, it has been and still is an exciting and exhilarating place to work. At Tillotts we work hard and have fun, we enjoy working together as a team and are all proud of our achievements.
“The main thing, is to keep the main thing, THE MAIN THING!” This is a quote from Steven Covey – it reminds me to keep my focus on the main opportunity and not to get diverted, it is too easy to lose focus and get distracted.
I have various role models for business situations and challenges, but one challenge I have and always failed to overcome is that I cannot sing and I love to sing, my singing role model is and has always been Freddie Mercury.

I started at Tillotts as a Graduate Marketing Associate in 2018 and Tillotts have helped me develop so much over the past few years. I am now a Brand Manager, which is a perfect mix of science and creativity.

Business ManagerI’ve been at Tillotts just over 12 months and what drew me to the company was the people. You get an immediate sense of family, and that everyone is in it together. I am lucky to have a great team of highly talented individuals, and I’m sure I will be sharing many more “loves” in no time.
My biggest passion is for DIY and powertools. I am renovating a house in France and it has become a labour of love. To help with my latest phase, I have just gained BTEC’s in plastering and plumbing!
It may sound cheesy, but my dad is my greatest role model. He can turn his hand to pretty much anything and taught me to do the same. He inspired my love of renovation and turning other peoples rubbish into something beautiful.

The ability to fly – I wouldn’t need a car and could fly everywhere. Not having to pay for fuel, trains or flights would be fantastic and would also be environmentally friendly, but best of all it would get me to Wales much faster to see my lovely granddaughter.
